Five Vegetable Stir-Fry w/ Bacon!!!

What a fresh dish this is!!! And only 5 vegetables!! I have to admit I was putting this dish together in my mind as we drove home from church today! I may have even thought about it for a second during church! Hey, No one really wants to cook a long complicated dish on Sundays-right! Well, this dish is a perfect go to if you want a plate chock full of goodness that is super quick and easy to throw together. Try it for yourself!!

Ingredients:

1 small head of broccoli

3 large carrots

1 onion

2 bunches of asparagus

1/2 small head of cauliflower

4-5 slices thick sliced bacon

1 cup cubed chicken (optional)

1 tbsp olive oil

Salt to taste

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp sesame oil

1 tbsp aged balsamic vinegar

Directions:

1. Chop/dice all veggies

2. Heat skillet over med high heat then add bacon and fry for just a minute before adding veggies

3. Add all veggies, stirring and flipping constantly

4. Add sesame seed oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and garlic powder- again stirring to mix everything in

5. Reduce heat to medium and cover- stirring often. Let cook until vegetables turn bright and start to soften- no more! About 5 minutes.

6. meanwhile take out bacon and chop into 1/2 slices then returning to pan

7. Cut off heat and stir, mixing everything together.

8. Serve and enjoy!!!!😋💕

Notes: of course the veggies are all interchangeable!!!
