
Ingredients:
2 pounds of pasture raised ground beef
1 8 oz. box grain free pasta (I use Jovial grain free cassava pasta)

1 medium/large onion chopped or diced
2 tbsp diced garlic
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Cheese Sauce Ingredients:
3 cups of shredded sharp cheddar or Colby jack cheese
3 tbsp butter
1/2 cup of half n half or coconut milk (maybe a bit more if you need to thin out sauce)
Directions:
1. sauté chopped onions and garlic in large skillet until onions are clear
2. Add hamburger meat and cook until juices run clear, stirring and breaking up meat often
3. Salt and pepper to taste (I use sea salt or Himalayan salt)
4. Let simmer a few minutes and then turn off
5. Meanwhile boil pasta according to box instructions and start cheese sauce
Cheese Sauce:
1. Melt butter on medium low in medium sauce pan
2. Add half n half and shredded cheese stirring constantly
Assemble and Bake
1. Drain pasta and add to ground meat mixture
2. Stir in cheese sauce, mixing well
3. Pour into baking dish and top with more shredded cheese
4. Bake at 325 for 20 minutes
Let cool for 10 minutes and dig in!!! So good for the heart and soul!!😋❤️
Variations: I actually put a paprika blend of spices in my cheese sauce. You can play with any spices you like
This dish is good with a side salad or any steamed or sautéed vegetable.
