Recipe:
1 pound ground beef, turkey, or pork
2 Tbsp maple syrup
1 1/2 tsp smoked salt
1 tsp rubbed sage
1/4 tsp thyme
3/4 to 1 tsp powdered ginger
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1. Put ground meat in large bowl and sprinkle your spices over the top. Add maple syrup and using hands mix all ingredients into the meat.
2. Lay out a large piece of wax paper to put formed sausage patties on.
3. Next, form patties by scooping out a ball of meat about the size of an ice cream scoop.
4. Pat balls into patties using fingers.
5. Using 2 TBSP of olive oil or coconut oil, heat skillet or pancake griddle over medium high heat (eventually you may have to lower heat a bit)
6. Add sausage patties and cook about 3 minutes on each side. I usually put a lid or aluminum foil over the pan while they cook!!!
7. Using spatula, remove patties and put on serving platter covered with paper towels to soak up excess oil
ENJOY!!!

Great recipe. They actually tasted better than I could’ve imagined. I thought I would miss my normal Breakfast patty. These are delicious.
